FULL
Rotoscope animation made during my Bachelor of Arts at RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts
"FULL" is a rotoscope animation I created while studying for my Bachelor of Arts at RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts.
It is a very short film but artistically it means a lot for me.
I always felt like I was 'too much', and always felt the need to reduce myself to the minimum, to feel less 'cumbersome', and I noticed that when I create something I feel like I am disappearing. So much so, that sometimes I don't feel myself anymore. I become bodiless, because everything I have I put it into my creation.
I grew so fond of this thought that I decided to give it a physical representation.
As I said, "FULL" means a lot to me. Not only it was my first time experimenting with rotoscope technique, so it gave me a chance to grow as an animator, but also working so many hours with my own image gave me the chance to observe myself in a different light: a point of view that gives very little space to ego and allows a broader and 'detached' vision.
