"The Dream Maker" is a live action and rotoscope short film I made in 2017, while studying at RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts for my Bachelor of Arts in Sculpture.

The film is about dreams and how they are created.

When coming up with the idea for this short I imagined it would be fun to represent dreams as real objects that are created by our alter ego, which wakes up when the 'real' version of us goes to sleep.

To represent this concept I opted for rotoscope animation, because of the dream-like effect that this technique gives.
