"Kachina" is a sculpture illustrated book I made in 2015 during my Bachelor Degree in Sculpture at RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts.

The puppet for this project is very rudimental, because it was not meant to be animated, just posed. 

I made a wire armature with aluminium wire and balsa wood and glue gun. The skin was plasticine and the eyes were replaceable and made in fimo, that was baked and painted.

The clothes were made from fabric and wire was inserted in some parts of the coat, so that it would be able to stay mid-air.
