Puppets, props and sets made for the sculpture illustrated book "My Own Self", 2016

"My Own Self" is a sculpture illustrated book I made in 2016 during my Bachelor Degree in Sculpture at RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts.

The puppets for this project were very rudimental, because they didn't need to be animated, just posed.

The armatures were made with wire, while the padding and skin was plasticine. I used flat beads for eyes and plasticine for the hair too. The clothes were made with old fabric, cut and glued together.

The sets were mostly made with Poliplat, wood, plaster, fabric, Ikea bathroom tiles and painted with acrylics.
