I made this sculpture during my first year of my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture at RUFA, Rome University of Fine Arts in 2014.

I made some pictures of my mother and then some drawings, to figure out the proportions and start understanding how volumes work.

Then I starting modelling the portrait with clay. Once the portrait was finished, I made a mold. The final result was a plaster sculpture.
